HOW OFTEN DOES GTSSC MEET?
We're aiming to meet twice a semester as a general body. There will also be optional social events, club mixers, and meet and greets for those who want to be more involved. We want to keep the club low-commitment, but still provide plenty of opportunities for our members.
WHAT TYPES OF TRIPS DOES GTSSC PLAN?
We typically have four East Coast trips and two West Coast trips a season. In previous years, we have gone to Banff, Canada, Valle Nevado in Chile, and Salt Lake City, Utah along with many other exciting places! Check out our gallery to see some cool photos of where we’ve been!
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE?
You can still attend trips without being a member, but you’d be missing out on the many member-exclusive perks. Some of our club membership benefits include trip registration priority, larger trip reimbursements, and access to an Ikon Pass discount code!
IS THERE A COMPETITIVE TEAM?
There is! We happen to be the number one competitive ski team in the Southeast. If you're interested in our competitive team, feel free to reach out to competitive@skiclubgatech.com for more info!
